Hi all.
Allie and I along with the rest of the team have just returned back from Malaybalay. We had a very fruitful week and everyone has come back on cloud nine.
There will be some stories to post but just to let you know we had a day off yesterday and visited a lake where there were bamboo rafts with shelters fixed on them.... so we hired two for the team and 'played pirates'. Great fun!!
I'll post a couple of pics when I get more time.

God bless all.

Rose Jen’s story.
My name is Rosejean, I attend this YWAM outreach for the reason that I want to be the part of Gods work here in Philippines. This is my first time to be a volunteer so when my first day at the base was very strange for everyone because I don’t know them. But when the days go on we have a good communication with my co-volunteers.
I am a part of the IPHC team which is here from England and I interpret and share also for those people in the healthcare ministry.
My highlight of the outreach so far is when the IPHC team discovered a very malnourished boy named Luigi at Marcos Bridge area of Cagayan de Oro. We brought him to the hospital where he is admitted to be fed and cared for. It is likely that he would have died if we did not find him.
I met a lady whose baby had difficulty breathing. I told the lady to call to Jesus to make your baby safe and she just nodded her head. I then went out and prayed for the baby at a distance for a complete healing and to sleep well. About twenty minutes later I met the lady in the walkway of the hospital and she smiled at me and told me that her baby was sleeping well and breathing ok now.
I just thank God for using me in that situation and it is a real privilege for me for God to use me in that way.
I look forward to more opportunities where God can use me again.
Amen.

We are a couple made out of two nations: Azersbaijan and Uzbekistan. April 2006 we joined CDTS at The King’s Lodge. We had three months lecture phase in England. Then we headed Philippines for our outreach.
In the Philippines we have spent two months. We were able to see God’s work there. The mega-outreach we joined there was both challenging and a lot of priceless experience for two of us. This outreach has helped us so much even in our marriage. We have been learning to serve God as a couple. It is such a privilege for us to be a part of what God is stirring up in this nation.
We would like to share one story where God used us and our team. Once during our door-to-door ministry in Villanuava we visited one house. There was one lady sitting who was busy with her nine month old boy in her tiny boxy house. Her name is Mimi and her son’s name is Kalil. Her son had been suffering with diaherria for two weeks then. Mimi said that they did not have money to go the clinic. We talked to our leader and got some money, and took her with her boy to the local clinic. Praise God that in that clinic they knew our IPHC team that was working with them then. We were able to see a doctor. She gave a prescription. After that we bought the needed medication for that boy. A few days later we felt in our team that God was willing to bless that family. By the way, we forgot to mention that Mimi’s husband Marven was a driver of motorcy-cub (which is one of the local transportation – motor taxi). Marven makes around 40 pesos (approximately 40 British pence) a day. And a kilo of rice costs here 25 pesos. Back to our offerings: we were able to collect over a thousand pesos amongst us. We bought rice, noodles, tin-fish, children’s food, coffee, shampoo, soap and some other necessities in the market. We brought all that to that family. They were so happy. Mimi said “God is so good to us!”. It was awesome to see their joy and smiles that day. They also came to our Saturday celebration at the local gym where we worshipped God and could experience His presence. Marven accepted Jesus that night. Three days later Mimi invited Jesus into her heart after we had had a bible study – a small church gathering – in their tiny wooden house.
We have so many stories from this outreach. If there is another chance to share with you more some time later we would be thrilled to do it . My husband and I are so happy to be involved in inviting people into His Kingdom. Rom.10:15 …”How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
