Hi all from hot and very humid Cagayan de Oro - Philippines
Outreach is going all out now and we have come tothe end of our first full ministry week. Everyone has worked very hard and God has opened many doors.
Our ministry team had an open air meeting last night in a hosing area called Vilia Mila.
Set up on a basketball court we had worship, dramas, testimonies and a gospel message. All which went very well until the last dance which was done in almost complete darkness.
Afterwards we were able to talk with folk all around. Kit (one of the Filipinos with us) and I went to talk with five guys who had been sitting to the side but had watched all and heard all that was said.
Aged between 18 to 26, after a while thay all accepted Jesus as Lord in their lives Hallelujah!!!!! and have asked for me and Kit to go back to see them to talk more about Jesus and how to read the bible. We are hoping to see them at the celebration tonight where we will arrange a suitable schedule for their discipleship training while we are here. Praise God.
